In juni 2023 was ik op reis naar Dalmatië en en enkele plaatsen in Bosnie-Herzegovina. Dalmatië is een van de vier historische gebieden van Kroatië, samen met Slavonië in het oosten, Istrië in het noordwesten en het centrale deel van Kroatië, als dusdanig ook steeds benoemd geweest. De regio kent een rijke en bewogen geschiedenis en was onder meer gekend als Dalmatia een provincie van het Romeinse Rijk en een voormalig kroonland van Oostenrijk, het koninkrijk Dalmatië.
Dalmatië kenmerkt zich door de mooie kustlijn met de vele eilanden, en de mooie plaatsen zoals Dubrovnik en het Krka Nationaal Park. Maar denk ook aan Mostar met de bekende Stari Most brug en de Kravika waterval in Bosnië–Herzegovina.
De camera was uiteraard weer mee op deze reis, en na het selecteren uit meer dan 600 videoclips startte ik met het samenstellen van onderstaande video. In June 2023 I was traveling to Dalmatia and some places in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Dalmatia is one of the four historical regions of Croatia, along with Slavonia in the east, Istria in the northwest and the central part of Croatia, and has always been named as such. The region has a rich and eventful history and was known as Dalmatia, a province of the Roman Empire and a former crown land of Austria, the Kingdom of Dalmatia.
Dalmatia is characterized by the beautiful coastline with many islands, and beautiful places such as Dubrovnik and the Krka National Park. But also think of Mostar with the famous Stari Most bridge and the Kravika waterfall in Bosnia–Herzegovina.
